Dragon is a costume. 龙 is not always a Kill.
A pattern, not a private student we will invent. The fail is using Dragon as a whole identity the way English speakers use a spirit-animal. The graph 龙 can still appear in real given names.

ChinaCurator’s naming essay opens on the pattern: foreigners introducing themselves as Lóng (龙 — Dragon), “assuming it sounds powerful, unaware that it sounds about as subtle as a foreigner in the West naming themselves ‘Sir King Lion.’” The same essay calls this the Power Trap, next to 霸 (Overlord). No named private student. We will not mint one. The roast is the identity move: pick the English power word, wear it as the whole name.

龙 can be a real graph. Dragon cannot be a whole person.
龙 is on the 百家姓 list as a surname. It also shows up in ordinary given names — 成龙 is the public example, a two-character 姓 + 名 a native already knows as a person. This checker will Keep a string that uses 龙 as a given-name graph in that grammar. It will Kill a single character with no 名 after it. Those are different jobs.
The fail on this page is the spirit-animal costume: introducing yourself as Dragon, the way a Westerner might pick Wolf or Phoenix as a display name. That fails the classmate test — you cannot put it on a classmate without a footnote.
